The WSOP first started in 1971 and nowadays it calls more than 5000 players worldwide to compete for more than $7.000.000. The first event began only with one game the no limit Texas holdem but over the years it evolved to include more games like Omaha, 
and seven card stud. The variety of the events and the large prize money makes World Series of Poker into a popular sport for people to play or even watch.
Cable broadcast around the world is offered so that everyone worldwide can enjoy this game. We can expect more changes and increases in money prizes over the years as well as an extreme change in the numbers of spectators and players.
